By default, this is set to 55 \u00b0C.<\/li>\n<li>Use the \u201c+\u201d and \u201c\u2013\u201d buttons to adjust the settings.<\/li>\n<li>By pressing the airplane icon, vacation mode is activated (LED indication).<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>The standard setpoints are:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>24 \u00b0C for cooling<\/li>\n<li>21 \u00b0C for heating<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>You can adjust this with an offset of \u20133 to +3 degrees. This offset is relative to the current standard setpoint.<\/p>\n<\/p>\r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"accordion-item\">\r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<h3><a href=\"#\" class=\"js-accordion-toggle\">Do we use night setback?<\/a><\/h3>\r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"accordion-content\">\r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p><p><strong>No<\/strong>, night setback does not provide any additional benefit. The energy saved at night is required in the morning to bring the apartment back up to temperature.<\/p>\n<\/p>\r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"accordion-item\">\r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<h3><a href=\"#\" class=\"js-accordion-toggle\">How do I set heating or cooling?<\/a><\/h3>\r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"accordion-content\">\r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p><p><strong>Cooling:<\/strong><br \/>\nThe default setting is 24 \u00b0C. If you want the space to continue cooling for longer, press the \u201c\u2013\u201d button and set, for example, \u20133. This means the system will continue cooling until 21 \u00b0C.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Heating:<\/strong><br \/>\nThe default setting is 21 \u00b0C. If you want the space to become warmer, press the \u201c+\u201d button and set, for example, +3. The system will then continue heating until 24 \u00b0C.<\/p>\n<\/p>\r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"accordion-item\">\r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<h3><a href=\"#\" class=\"js-accordion-toggle\">Can I increase domestic hot water comfort?<\/a><\/h3>\r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"accordion-content\">\r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p><p>Via the shower icon on the thermostat, you can set the temperature of the buffer tank (minimum 40 \u00b0C).<\/p>\n<p>A higher temperature provides more comfort, but also results in higher energy consumption. The heat pump has to work harder, at a lower efficiency, and the thermostatic mixing valve will mix in more cold water to maintain a safe water temperature.<\/p>\n<p>An important nuance is that this does not affect the outlet temperature to the sanitary fixtures, but it does allow hot water to be drawn for a longer period, as the tank is charged to a higher level.<\/p>\n<\/p>\r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"accordion-item\">\r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<h3><a href=\"#\" class=\"js-accordion-toggle\">How does the system switch between cooling and heating? (2-pipe \/ 3-pipe)<\/a><\/h3>\r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"accordion-content\">\r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p><p><strong>2-pipe system:<\/strong><br \/>\nThe system looks at the total demand within the circuit to which your apartment is connected. From 51% demand for cooling or heating (or no demand), the system switches to that mode. In the case of equal demand (50\/50), heating is given priority. Demand per building orientation will generally be more evenly distributed.<\/p>\n<p><strong>3-pipe system:<\/strong><br \/>\nIn a 3-pipe system, the switching takes place within the apartment, giving the owner complete freedom to choose between cooling or heating.<\/p>\n<\/p>\r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"accordion-item\">\r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<h3><a href=\"#\" class=\"js-accordion-toggle\">How does underfloor heating work?<\/a><\/h3>\r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"accordion-content\">\r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p><p>Underfloor heating works via a manifold (inside the SEDS unit). The circuits ensure an even distribution of heat or cold throughout the apartment. This results in a very comfortable and energy-efficient solution.<\/p>\n<\/p>\r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"accordion-item\">\r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<h3><a href=\"#\" class=\"js-accordion-toggle\">I have no or insufficient hot water. What can I do?<\/a><\/h3>\r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"accordion-content\">\r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p><ol>\n<li>Check whether the buffer tank temperature is set high enough (for example, increase it from 50 \u00b0C to 55 \u00b0C).<\/li>\n<li>Check at all taps whether cold, lukewarm, or hot water is coming out.<\/li>\n<li>If the problem persists, contact SEDS at +32 14 42 14 26.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/p>\r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"accordion-item\">\r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<h3><a href=\"#\" class=\"js-accordion-toggle\">My apartment is too warm or too cold. What can I do?<\/a><\/h3>\r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"accordion-content\">\r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p><p><strong>Too warm:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Lower the thermostat offset by 2 or 3 degrees.<\/li>\n<li>Take solar gains into account, as they can strongly influence the temperature.<\/li>\n<li>If this does not help, contact &#115;&#x65;&#x72;&#118;&#x69;&#x63;&#101;&#x40;&#x73;&#101;&#x64;&#x73;&#46;&#x62;&#x65;.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><strong>Too cold:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Increase the thermostat offset by 2 or 3 degrees.<\/li>\n<li>Check whether all zones on the manifold receive sufficient flow.<\/li>\n<li>Check whether the floor feels evenly warm everywhere.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>Allow the system at least 24 hours to respond.<\/p>\n<\/p>\r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"accordion-item\">\r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<h3><a href=\"#\" class=\"js-accordion-toggle\">How do I change the temperature in only my bedroom?<\/a><\/h3>\r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"accordion-content\">\r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p><p>If your bedroom is equipped with additional zone control, the room can be individually controlled. This throttles the temperature within the room and therefore results in less heat in winter and less cooling in summer.<\/p>\n<p>The zone control automatically opens (or closes) the underfloor heating or cooling valve based on the desired temperature in that room. Once the set temperature is reached, the valve closes (or opens) again.<\/p>\n<\/p>\r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"accordion-item\">\r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<h3><a href=\"#\" class=\"js-accordion-toggle\">I\u2019m going on vacation.
